Two 12-year-old boys suffer fatal injuries, two others moderately injured when abandoned ordnance explodes

Two 12-year-old Palestinian boys were killed and two others were injured Tuesday, by an explosion caused by abandoned munitions shells.
According to Palestinian sources, the children – Hamza, Zayed, Natir and Hisham Jradat, all related – were playing in a field filled with scrap metal in the Hebron-adjacent village of Sier.
The injured were rushed to a hospital in Hebron, where doctors pronounced Hamza and Zayed dead, Ramadan Awad, Hebron's police chief said.
The IDF said it was investigating the incident.
